MIDNIGHT BEAUTY

. Tonight I walked and searched through the sky

. Watched the stars as I strolled by

. They were gleam

. Shone all over

. Glittering in the dark, radiating even better

. Brightening the long dark night

. Tonight I stared at the stars

. In their multiples each reflected her own light

. A spark from this, a twinkle from that

. Such beauty of the night

. Just then you crossed my mind

. In a world that might be dull and void

. Baby you light up my life.
