I was blown away!
My first session with the chatbot clearly left me in awe. I’ve had brief interactions with chatbots; like pop-ups in web corners or automated customer help and I’m sure you can also relate. Now imagine a much more relatable bot that is amplified by artificial intelligence.

It was 12pm noon and I was ‘done for the day’. I had sorted out client orders and met several writing deadlines. So I decided to take a virtual walk on the internet like I always do and this is when I run into a tweet about this new invention or ‘tool’.
I was curious about what I had scarcely read. I needed more answers to my multiplying questions, so I dived into a search engine for answers.
My people say ‘curiosity killed the cat’. For the first time, I questioned the validity of that statement. What if the cat wasn’t dead but introduced to a new realm order? …..okay forget I just said that I’m not sure what that means myself😂
The ChatGPT is a recently released chatbot from Sam Altman and Elon Musk’s company, OpenAI. The abilities these bot showcases are the reason behind the deserved hype it has gotten in recent times. It is capable of answering questions in an adequate and accurate conversational manner. It is an incredible tool to not just marketers but also developers. In fact, it’s beneficial to anyone as long as they are conversant with the mode of operation.
ChatGPT is arguably one of the most promising AI text generators, although as of now, it is not free from errors and some limitations which are boldly written in the chat room. One of the capabilities of the bot is that it remembers what the user has said earlier in the conversation, cool right?😀
The bot has generated much excitement and technically I was impressed.
However excited I was, a fear began to build up. A judgemental sense that this sweet invention might someday turn into a job devourer.
